Name that mountain

Combined with the significant vertical and objective hazard/difficulty of just getting to the base of the summit pinnacle (3000'+ of snow/rock/ice depending on conditions) is why it's been given that title by some. I'm sure there are other worthy candidates for hardest summit in NA but it's definitely up there. |

This thread needs a bump! I'll throw out Mont Blanc (maybe from the Trois Monts route?) but it doesn't look quite right |

Eric Roewrote: Close, it's the other big massif in the alps. |

What initially came to mind was Mt. Blanc du Tacul and Mt. Maudit from the Cosmiques but I knew that was not correct. The other two that come to mind are Castor and Pollux. |

Castor and Pollux is my bet too. If not I was thinking Breithorn Occidentale. |

Very close but not quite, last hint is that there is something built on the summit of the peak on the right. |

Punta Gnifetti, massiccio del Monte Rosa |
