Hello!

I'm a UK based remote worker and I'm looking to spend time working/climbing in the Alps this summer. Ideally Chamonix but open to other areas.

Anybody in a similar boat up for chatting about potentially teaming up on accomodation/objectives?

JT,

I'm coming overseas from the US during August and would love to tackle some classics around Chamonix/Alps and especially Dolomites. Looking for recs on renting a van and similar.

Hey JT, et al.,

I'll be in Europe starting this weekend: Croatia for April and 1/2 of May, then it's open-ended. I'd like to get to Chamonix for May/June. My focus is on multipitch and alpine climbing.

Because of Schengen, I'll need to spend time out of the zone once I use up the 90 days. I'm thinking of heading to Georgia, Romania, or Bulgaria primarily for the hot months, then back to the Alps around September/October.

Arab/American here. Just got a place in Arco for half a year and keen to climb in the area as well as the Dolomites in the summer. I have plenty of space to host and a car! I’m recovering from an injury so wanting to stick with easy stuff for the next month or so

I will be in Chamonix all June and July and looking for partners! Multi pitch is my jam but also want to check out cragging at lower elevations, and just check out surrounding areas in general. I have tons of multi pitch trad experience up to 5.11+ but do not have any snow/glacier experience. I plan to hire a guide for my first week there (June5-10) to focus on glacier stuff, then hope to climb more with a partner of my own for the rest of June and July.

Are you looking for more sport/trad or alpine partners? When will you arrive in Cham?

I had an Alpine Trip planned for the last week of April/all of May in Chamonix (plan was to ski Gran Paradiso, then move up to Cham and do various alpine routes there for May, toying with skiing the Trois Monts) but my intended partner managed to break his collarbone yesterday, so I'm what you'd call flexible re: objectives now. Would love to find anyone else interested in some alpine stuff.

I am looking at basing out of Chamonix for about a month arriving around June 1.  If the weather and conditions cooperate, I'd like to jam in as many moderate, alpine rock routes as possible.  I have a fair bit of flexibility on when I arrive.
