Mystery Hanger identification.

I was cleaning up a couple routes at a rarely frequented crag by me and I came across some new bolts somebody installed with these mystery hangers. One set is completely unmarked. Another thread on here suggests they may be a batch of CT hangers but there's no way to tell for sure. Whoever installed the bolts didn't do a good job as this one was without a nut when i came across it, hence why it is now in my possession. The other set pictured below is "climb axe" brand which i couldn't find any evidence of. Possible amazon hanger? I didn't see them on there but I know these types of funny brand names change all the time. All the new bolts appear to be hardware store grade general purpose wedge anchors as well. Has anyone else ever come across these?

According to my internet sleuthing I'd guess it's a predecessor to the better known "Climb X". "Climb Axe", "Climb Max", and "Climb X" seem to be all pretty much the work of the same guy.

Interesting. Good sleuthing. I was just reading about climb x hangers failing. Guess they're a candidate for replacement.

That climb axe looks like a metolius hanger. I would guess it’s just like pagan hangers where you could purchase them in bulk. I think the climb x hangers had a different shape

It does look exactly like the Pagan Gear hangers, which people think are ok. And Pagan Gear was another company by the same guy so that makes sense.

I'm guessing the bottom hanger is one of their ClimbTech rebrands/knockoffs without the etching.

All of the broken Climb X hanger photos I've seen look similar to the current Mad Rock Sentinel hanger and not any of these designs.

Bottom one looks like a gen 1 ClimbTech hanger in 400SS.  Supertopo had a thread these LONG ago.  There was also some posting on here a while back where they had corrosion issues up in WA state.  The 400 series were magnetic. They were strong new but their longevity was questionable from anecdotal info I read.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.

Fixed Hardware: Bolts & Anchors
