At 45:25 we have the inimitable Kris Hampton climbing his favorite single pitch on the planet, the Inhibitor.

There is another video of this ascent with more of a storyline but I like this uncut version more.

Does solar flare count as trad? Even the crack was bolted and I didn’t see them place a single piece.

The rule is as long as the video starts with a shot of the climber rifling through trad gear in their van (or campsite) then it belongs in the trad videos thread. 

With ya Palawan... Cool vid and climb, I did see a wired nut and some aliens in Alex’s harness at the end.  More of a general question, am I getting crusty if I question climbing on rap/pre-placed gear and calling it trad?!!   Is it basically sport at that point? 

I feel like both of these have existed in some version on other youtube channels (and one of these threads) before, but was fun to rewatch!

I don’t remember ever seeing this before— this version of it was only posted a few months ago. Saw it on the Speed of Life thread. Amazing video covering all styles of climbing in the Northeast.

One of my favorite trad climbs in all of suck creek!

The youtube algorithm sometimes gives you gold. The Yuji clip is pretty cool. A lot of great videos on the channel, though most are shorter than you would hope.
