Alpine Ice Screw Carrier For Sale $20.00

I posted recently about a new ice screw bag I was developing for Alpine climbing when you arent taking an entire arsenal of screws. I have a new prototype that Improves on the concept and performs better than the first version. The fabric is Strong Cordura, less material and less weight than the big bags sold else where. This was my solution to achieve fast and light.

For a limited time I am offering this 6 screw bag for less than cost in order to refine the process. The bag is home made by me and will thus may have some minor blemishes or stitches that arent exaclty true. I only ask for sound, positive, constructive criticism in return.

I am also working on developing an 8 screw bag that is tapered allowing for seven short and mid range screws and 1 - 22 cm (5 short/medium for leading-2 long for anchor and 1 for V-thread). Some thoughts:

• Holes in the bottom can help screws dry out
• Elastic cord is my favorite closure I've used so far. You may already have that on the gunslinger
• Rather than have a tapered holder, I'd rather have a longer one open on both ends that can hold opposing 13s.

Thanks for the great insight. I am using elastic cord now, it seems to be the best. I also used velcro and it was acceptable.

Holes in the bottom are a great idea, I have contemplated that, maybe using a ring stamped into the bottom, or leaving small slits on the sides, but I am dealing with fabric fraye, I will continue to work on that.

One of my first designs was open on each end, I did not like having to using 2 straps or a screw falling out when I lift it out of my pack. When these are rolled up, I can quickly grab the lengths I need when racking up without even unrolling it! then the rest go back right back into the pack.
