Visiting for the holidays and looking for a partner. Would like to gym at least a couple days a week and outside if possible. Was only planning on bringing shoes and a harness but can bring more if needed.

Also looking for some beta on gyms...any of them have a punch pass or am I best off buying a one month membership?  How is the weather? Is it possible to get outside?

Just got some snow but if you're lucky it'll be dried up by the time you arrive. Your best gym bet is probably CRG Glastonbury, about 15 minutes east of Hartford. $94 a month, $20 a day pass.

The state doesn't have too much steep climbing in the middle that would stay dry, but I know Ross Pond out by RI has a bit.

Right on, I think I'm going to plan for a CRG month pass. Depending on how forecast looks on friday I may or may not bring a rope and some draws.

If you're looking for a partner I'd be happy to try out ragged mountain or pinnacle, I have a rope and a small rack.

I won’t be around, but if you’re looking for somewhere warm, head over to East Peak or West Rock. Was out last weekend in 20s in tee shirts.

OP or anyone else wanna hit Central Rock sometime this week?

Chandler, let's get after some pinnacle this summer! Went and wandered around Bradley mountain the other day, looks decent. Got all booked up till Monday. Marc, I live in Lafayette and think maybe I've seen some of ur posts in CO forum, I'm always looking for more partners, we should climb in the future!!

I haven't really been able to find a CT outdoor climbing community, if anyone is interested in climbing outside shoot me a message at 413-313-353two. I'll throw together a group chat if theres a few.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
