Well I turned 28 and decided it was time to give up on my dream of being a youth-team prodigy. Instead I'm turning to big wall climbing to hide my pain. I'm trying to fill out a rack for RNW Face of Half Dome and while I have much of the basic gear, I'd like to fil out the rest of the rack with 'tried and true' gear from the community.

I'd love to find various Moses cam hooks, a BD Talon, a swivel, a gently destroyed haul bag, and maybe even a double portaledge that is collecting dust in someone's attic. Shoot me a message if you have any junk or treasures you'd like to part with.

Just hit 20 and I’ve decided the same thing.

See you out there!

Sorry to totally derail this, but I'm planning on heading out to Yosemite in December 2023, if any other first timers are going to be there at the same time, we should meet up for a beer before and after we hit the wall and swap stories!

FYI- You don't need any of that gear for RNW Face. Hauling on it kind of sucks. Plenty of good ledges to sleep on. Climb it in a day or have the follower carry light bivy gear in a pack. My two cents. Have Fun!!!
