My name is Will, and I’m a 21 year old with a tiny, shitty van and a passion for rock climbing. I’m in the process of converting said van to a camper so I can run off into the wild and pull down on big rocks as often as possible. My climbing journey started 6 years ago when I joined the Rock Phenoms (the climbing team at Phoenix Rock Gym) and since then I’ve maintained a constant passion (and inconsistent schedule) for climbing. I’ve only been outdoor climbing a few times in those six years, but I’m extremely interested in doing more of it in the future as I meet more people in the dirtbagging community. Having just started my nomadic journey, I don’t know many other people who live this life; A fact I was hoping to change with this forum post :) Please connect with me if you’re looking for someone who:
-will do handyman or finish carpentry work to pay for his gas and climbing gear (I did a year of trade school in construction and have several years of experience on top of that. I’m able to do cabinets, doors, crown moldings, furniture repair, flooring, backsplashes and VERY minor electrical work such as swapping ceiling fans or range hoods) -has a bit of experience belaying and lead climbing (and consistently climbs v3/5.11 at PRG, but recently sent a v5 and a 5.12-) -will accept any and all climbing gear donations (who wouldn’t though; if you have cheap crash pads for sale hit me up please) -is down to go camping and climbing for several consecutive days once he has the liquid assets to do so. (to be honest I’d also do landscaping for someone who was willing to throw some cash at me right now) -has access to a fairly large piece of land just outside of the City of Maricopa (I have a garden hose with access to rural well-water, but no other hookups. I built a tiny home on this piece of land and I’ve got more room for anyone who has an RV, boat, or mobile tiny home that they need to park somewhere long or short term. All Nomads Welcome)
