Even better deal there if you pick the individual nuts instead of the set. I got the three smallest sizes for $6 each. 

This isn't so much a deal but REI is claiming to have BD OZ biners and quickdraw sets in stock - I ordered some, will what shows up. Maybe they discovered a random box in the back of a warehouse somewhere is the only thing I can think of.

Old TC Pros for $95, EU 38.5/39.5 are the only sizes left. I saw 5 or 6 silver Oz carabiners in the Seattle REI last night. Oddly enough, they all said made in Italy, which is where CT Berry W's are made after they bought the hoodwire rights from BD.

I don't want to derail this thread, but that's wild, curious to see what shows up. Love the oz and was sad to see it go - glad to hear the hood concept lives on, I didn't realize that it had been sold. I'm not sure what info exists on the web but my anecdote from working on the BD carabiner line in SLC 6 years ago is that the hooded biners were too expensive to make. Magnetrons same, but worse, I think they were nearly losing money on those even with a $30+ price tag. 

My penance for this off topic is the petzl pro traxion for $82 a.co/d/7xGFely - you might need to click on the other sellers to see it. Took a couple weeks to show up from England but mine showed up last night. Other petzl gear from the same store is v cheap. New for less than people are asking for used gear.

Any euro store that ships to the US is gonna be way cheaper if your order is big enough to justify the shipping.

If magnetrons were discontinued for that reason why didn't they recall them like they've recalled just about every other biner they've made? That may have been a factor but I can tell you for sure they weren't making money on them. Yields on the line were pretty shit for them as well with lots of units failing qc.
