Wanted to see if anyone has trouble getting their vehicle up out of lode hill.

We're in a Ford transit connect, not 4wd & a little worried about getting stuck on the way out. Part of me thinks all I need to do is pop it in 1st gear but I don't want to get stuck & block the road for everyone.

Also if anyone is headed down or up drive by/Bob Marley tomorrow, we're willing to buy beer for a ride up or down.

Everyone going down the lode hill without awd/4wd is why the lode hill looks like the lode hill.

Just hike, Bob Marley wall really isn't that far from the top of the hill. Similar distance to solarium or midnight surf from Muir parking.

FYI the top of the hill parking is a pay lot now.  Not sure of the latest price, last I heard it was $11

Drove it 2-3 times in the last week. Would not recommend without some clearance and 4WD/AWD. It's an easy walk, you can pay to park online, there's info at the parking shack thing at the top of the hill, I think it's $10, same as you'd pay at Muir

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
