I like to do solo missions out aiding and in turn like to listen to music to get me in the zone. So, what are your favorite songs to aid/big wall to or any songs that fit that theme? This is not a thread meant for outdoor music yay or nay debate. I personally love to crank some songs by "The police" or generally any 80s rock and epic guitar stuff. And anyways YGD!

This song reminds me a lot of Sultans of Swing, has a great groove to it and fun guitar parts. This is exactly the sort of stuff I want to listen to on the wall:

For me, back in the day it was Zappa, King Crimson,Yes,  on a 100 minute BASF Metal tape in an auto-reverse Panasonic (small) boom box. The tape was glued in ( no door left!) and the handle was replaced with a sling. We dragged that up our first four walls in the eighties. It did the job.

Wow… those days! Thanks Fish and ‘Dorf! You guys were kind to a couple of wanna-be hardmen!

Reggae. Hard to be stressed when you're listening to reggae.

Red Hot Chili Peppers. Especially By The Way, Californication or the new album. No way not to get psyched.

I'm learning that I literally could not climb with most of you unless we agreed to climb in silence. I can't imagine being more stressed than having to listen to reggae, RHCP, or Zappa, or Beyoncé, or Pearl Jam, or whatever that Toad the Wet Sprocket meets Jimmy Buffet sounding stuff was that Ricky posted.

I'll climb with ministry, DMX, and Mobb Deep any day though lol.

but tbh, even though I listed Tom Petty above, my real bigwall playlist love is usually just nonstop Nightcore remixes so no one wants to climb with my music anyways

Oh Pearl Jam is definitely tongue in cheek, only good for reinforcing that you haven't died after each placement.

Don’t believe Kevin’s Lies-

I’ve personally watched him sing every line to BonJovi Living on a prayer on the big rock

I'll go in a bit of a different direction here.

I am convinced there are two types of people in the world: People who love Abba and filthy, goddamn liars. Abba goes hard.

Don't believe me? Listen to this shit.

And now back to my regularly scheduled program of trying to convince gringos that they should listen to Latin music:

Listening to music on the wall?

THAT'S AID !

P.S. That said, I'm partial to Gwen Stefani, No Doubt days. If I ever feel like my time is up (the mythical A5 pitch) then I will switch over to The Doors and trip balls, lol

It’s okay Kevin, you can pick the music.

I Don’t think I’ve listened to much Zappa since the 90’s anyway.

I’ll happily rock some Santana, no convincing needed here.   Would likely be in the mood for the first couple of albums from The Mars Volta after that to keep some of the Latin flavor going while rocking out a bit.

Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!! Good ol The Hawk.  "You're listening to The Hawk, the Valley's Classic Rock!  With no repeats all day!"

But let the sun go down, and man oh man, those same 66 songs get repeated yet again. Every single day, you get to listen to all nine minutes of George Thorogood's "One Bourbon, One Scotch and One Beer"

Excruciating!

P.S.  I heard Kevin DeWeese is a big Kenny Gee fan.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
