Found a trad rack at the base of The Watchtower, Gallatin Canyon, MT on Friday morning (7.29.22). My climbing partner and I arrived at the base of The Watchtower around 7:30am where we found a full rack hanging from a small rock horn. We returned to our packs just before noon and it was still there. Id like to get it back to its rightful owner. If this is your rack, please DM me with a description of the rack, giving details of pieces and your colors.
OK David, glad she is on her way home... but please share the story of how the rack was left behind? Was it a sudden albino Marmot attack? Did you find a heart shaped rock for your Sig-O and that took the weigh of a whole rack in your pack out? Did your partner insist on using their old school rigid cam collection and Hexes to send and you were lightning-chased off the top? Or was it something even more sinister? MP needs to know the full story? Please write us a good one, when you have time. : - )
I think I was distracted while packing up—I didn’t realize I was missing the gear until I read this post and then checked my gear drawer. Pretty crazy, definitely embarrassed and thankful.
Hopefully there is a nice free beer selection in Alex's future. Kudos to all. This is what we all hope will happen to our racks when they are left someplace accidentally. Cheers!
