BD mission 55 or 75

Looking for a larger pack of the current set up and eyeing on the new BD mission. Mostly for multidays climb or the comfort of suspension on long approach.

Does anyone have experience with the current version?

And also debating between 55 and 75 version. They don't weight much different as size does. I feel like 55 would do the most case but 75 is there with nearly the same weight.

Or any other suggestions?

Thanks!

I have a Mission 75 and dont like it. It carries very poorly. My new large crag pack is a Blue Ice Moonlight 55. It is still not a 75 L pack. Hyperlight Mountain Gear have some very nice large packs.

Is the BD newer version of old?

I think it is year old now. Don´t know when it was renewed.

I have a Mission 75, seems great to me, it’s hauled some huge loads into various camps and expeditions.  One thing to be aware of is that to get the big volume, the pack is pretty tall.  It would not be that great to do any hard climbing in, because it’ll interfere with your ability to look up and bend your back, especially with the back panel installed.  If you’re going to use the pack on routes, I’d go with a smaller size (Speed 40 is my go-to pack for carrying on route with a lot of stuff).

thanks! I am planning to use it more just hauling stuff to Basecamp and go with a smaller summit pack

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
