Clipping pitons rather than cams, but still a great watch. |

Nathan Doylewrote: Nice. Tha Karakoram Highway doesn’t get the traffic it deserves. It’s as good as Astroman, just longer. |

Carlo is as smooth as glass. |

Interesting that he used so many C3s in a BD video. Seems like they'd want him on Z4s? |

Awesome vid I love how clearly you get to watch the placements! The C3s and the ball nut.... Some spots just won't take anything else. When he transitions to the right side of the crack and his foot almost blows... so great. He makes it look secure but he is standing on nothing. |

That video was an advertisement for a product they don't even make anymore  |

That video is pretty perfect... why add anything to that setting?! Carlo really made the climb look almost effortless. I found it interesting to see the differences in the way he and Lonnie Kauk climb, too. They have sort of anti-styles. I saw Carlo at the BD store opening in Bend a couple months ago and gave him a congrats on sending this, and he was obviously so stoked on it, but so humble. Said something like, "Thank you, it's just such a perfect climb, I'm so glad I got to do it." Cool to see how much he just flowed through it. |

Gates out. Good man, Carlo. Good man. |

I have to agree that’s about as perfect as a climbing video as it gets. It’s such a simple formula to follow. Sometimes less is more. Gotta hand it to BD for producing content made for climbers and not just for mass appeal. If only I could get my hands on some C3s! |

"WHAT is it like to CLIMB 5.12 trad in YOSEMITE VALLEY? Romulan Warbird (5.12c 700')" Good POV video. They didn't edit out the placing of gear - unlike on many videos that are aimed at non-climbers. Also: black Totem awesomeness. It holds when two pieces above fail on a good whipper. |

Paul Lwrote: I dunno, Lonnie looked super efficient, rested well, etc. Placed a little less gear too, I suppose. Because of all the cuts on the BD video we don't get to see if/where Carlo rested. |

I don't think Lonnie climbed less efficiently or made it look any harder, just interesting to see the different styles. |
