PSA: Beware of Evan Holly. Some people suck.

Bought a c4 from an “Evan Holly”. Not super responsive, and on multiple occasions did not ship the cam when he said he would. When I sent another email this morning asking for an update, I received an automated response telling me that his email address was not found/does not exist. His Venmo is also no longer showing up. Evan, if you’re reading this, some of us don’t have a whole lot to our name and I’d really appreciate if you either send me the cam or send me my money back.

His Venmo name shows up as Adam Smith for me now.. might be Venmo referencing the economist though

Shows up as Adam smith for me now as well. I’m assuming that’s Venmo’s version of “John/Jane Doe/Smith” aka a nobody.

I also got scammed off MP a while back. Good reminder that public forums are easy targets for scammers. 

I lost 2C4s and nuts bucks to Evan, exact same thing happened to me as with OP... pretty sad that such people exist :(

If you're buying from an account with no history then you're setting yourself up. Do your due diligence before buying from other users.

Sorry dude, the same guy Evan Holly/Adam Smith scammed me a few months ago. Some people are total trash - however every other person I have ever bought from or sold to has been amazing.

I have older straight stem c4 #1 in very good shape. I'd happily send your way free of charge.

Sorry to hear this. I only use Venmo with friends because it’s too easy to scam people with it. Although, I recently heard that they are adding a protected option but I haven’t verified. I have a decently long selling/post history on MP and I still advise people to use the Goods/Services option with PayPal with me if they pay the fee. Yes, some people suck!

Neverrrrrrrrr use friends and family. the fee is worth it 1000%. sucks butt
