The place is already an absolute junk show. how is aiding it any worse than the mobs of noobs spending 3-4 hours falling their way up 2 pitch classics?

On cathedral ledge in North conway you can even set up a ledge if you have one and camp out without getting in trouble. that would give you all kinds of experience at hauling, setting up the ledge, sleeping on it etc  And you get to do a real  aid climb at the same time.  That first pitch or two of Mines of Moria looks pretty intimidating!

This past weekend Ken's Crack was completely soaked from the waterfall spray--probably a great time to take up a route that popular for aid
