Tokopah falls ice conditions

Has anyone ice climbed at Tokopah Falls this season? How were the conditions?

Tokopah Valley is a bit less accessible this winter. The General's Highway is closed from the northern approach via Kings Canyon. That road is not only open only from the south, it is gated during the week, and is only being unlocked on weekends, and that only as far as Wolverton. The NPS hasn't posted any schedule for plowing the Lodgepole trailhead parking, or for opening that section of the highway. Moreover, they're listing trails in the Lodgepole area as "closed," whatever that means.

Why?? COVID is over.

Probably from the KNP Complex fire this past fall. Tons of hazard trees need cleaned up.
