Climbing Pants question: They are normal nylon climbing/hiking pants but have a stretchy waistband that goes above the hips.

They looked perfect. They had a black waistband like these that went higher than a normal waistband: https://www.rei.com/product/892845/prana-vaha-pants-mens-30-inseam But they were a synthetic/nylon material, not soft like sweatpants. And the color was that deep dark reddish brown. Any ideas? |

These pants do not have nylon in them. Did you read the description of the pants? What do you want to figure out? I'll bet you could figure it out on your own. |

Sorry... what was the question? |

Question is: Have you seen what I am describing? Know the name of em? |

Could be outdoor research ferrossi, especially one of the past models. GREAT climbing pants, lighter than prana stretch zion and similar, just as durable. |

I have those vaha pants and the nylon version in shorts. I wouldn't pay anything close to retail but I have access to prana pro deals. I wouldn't actually climb much in them, either. The hemp long pants version are like pajamas and I treat them as such, the shorts are ok for bouldering at the gym, and I keep them in my gym bag. They're both really comfy with that big elastic waist. I'm also not really sure what your question is? |
