Selling my van: 2007 Ford e-150 Build out: Complete build out with eastern red cedar which I milled and processed from our woods, it smells sooo good! 2 inches of insulation under the floors and ceiling, and more than 2” in the walls. Bed folds out to comfortably sleep two. I sewed the yellow cushions for it, they are memory foam, but I also built the bed to the exact size of two metolious crash pads which I can include as it is super comfortable, for those who like firm mattresses, and let’s you sleep comfortably 6 foot without having to go diagonal. Cooktop/oven runs on regular propane. I also sewed cloth covered insulation panels with magnets that go in all of the windows and a thermal blanket that goes between the seats and the rest of the cabin. Van details: I have driven it cross country twice with zero issues. It jumps on every time you get in it even up in the cold mountains. The only servicing I have done in the two years of owning it were replacing the serpentine tensioner are and belt, as well as brake calipers and pads; on top of the usual oil and filter changes. Issues/notes: There is some surface rusting around the edges of the van at the bottom. I sanded the spots down but then left on a trip out west before treating the bare metal so it needs to happen again. Lastly: Reach out with any and all questions or comments. The price is a little bit negotiable but also I am looking to put the money into a car now that I am back at school :( Thanks for looking! |

Super Interested Going to email now! |

PS: I’m located in Ithaca NY. I would however be up for using my winter break from school to drive the van out wherever in the US and then fly back possibly. We can figure something out. |

caesar.saladwrote: Thanks for the input, it is always tricky when paying yourself for the time and effort you put into something. Especially since many of the resources I was able to get by simply spending the time cutting, milling, drying, processing the wood instead of just outright buying the materials. At one point during covid when lumber was through the roof I looked up the price of what a 10 foot cedar board was worth and it was over $100 per board haha. |
