Water at Shepard’s Pass

Might run up to do a couple things from Shepard’s Pass before the end of the month. Is there any water left up there?  Been up to the high country a few times in last couple months and a lot of spots that normally have water are dry. Thanks for any recent info!

Yeah the pot hole is what I was wondering about. Thanks though!

This is interesting. Do you have any particular reason to doubt the availability of water near The Pothole? Just asking because I've never before heard or read that Shepherd Creek isn't perennial.

Keep and eye on the weather; there has been snow in the Sierra this week (above ~10k around Bishop) which is currently melting out fast. If it snowed down around Shephard you'll probably be in luck for water.

Sorry, I misspoke. Not at the pothole but up at Shepard’s Pass proper. There is usually a shallow “pond” below the north face of Tyndall.  That is what I was referring to.
