I'm up in Oberlin for a fall semester visiting assistant professor gig and would love to find folks to climb with out here! I'm down for checking out what's around locally on weekdays (generally free all day Tues/Thurs), as well as weekend trips to the New or Red.
I enjoy both trad and sport--I'm generally comfortable up to low 10s and enjoy pushing myself in the 10+/11- range. I'm pretty chill and am equally happy spending a day projecting, getting volume on easier routes, or just enjoying being out in a beautiful place. I also enjoy cycling and skiing.
I'm fully vaccinated and cautious regarding covid (though I will be being regularly exposed to a campus of undergraduates due to my job...). Not planning to go to the gym for the time being, but may reassess later in the semester.
Hi Etha, I climb similar grades and am looking for partners for Mad River Gorge. I’ve spent most of the year living and working in the Red but just moved back to Ohio a couple days ago due to divorce. I am also newly funemployed and available weekdays or whenever. If you’re interested in checking out some short slimy limestone cliffs a couple hours away, I’d love to get out with someone more experienced with lead belaying than my mom (bless her heart). I’m fully vaccinated. 937.214.3744
Etha or Molly, I'm in Pittsburgh and willing to travel a bit for some weekday climbing next week Oct 2-10th timeframe and similarly graded to Etha. Would love to just show up with a harness, shoes and chalk and not have to schlep gear across the country. Let me know! Just wanted to get on rock out where i grew up for the first time ever.
