Do you like fun? Do you like to work hard between climbing trips? Are you comfortable at height?

Come work a fall season in the Boulder area, hanging Christmas lights! I’m currently recruiting, and looking for several new team members who would like to join us at Colorado Christmas Lights.

It’s a fun and fast paced work environment with the install season running October 1 to mid-December and the takedown season occurs over a few weeks in January.
we have cool toys, like bucket trucks and man lifts, the pay is more than competitive, and the Boulder area has access to some of the best climbing in Colorado!

More information available upon request.

Hey there - Not trying to be a jerk at all but CO now requires employers to include pay ranges for any job postings listed in the state, the law went into effect at the beginning of this year. I know this is a fairly relaxed environment to advertise but just a heads up you may want to include that

It's almost as if this forum isn't an appropriate place for job postings, especially if their only connection to climbing is "the job is so close to super famous climbing area X".

Whenever someone says this, it's very revealing about their moral character....and it's ugly

Before this slides off the rails too far, I had a great time working with Ryan the two seasons I was there. Pay was great. Highly recommend hitting him up if you're looking for a fall/winter job!

Oh WOKE Winter Soldier, please carry on.

Remember people! There’s a law now that says if you don’t post wages the job might not pay as much as unemployment benefits, so I don’t want to waste my time applying if I don’t know….or in this case maybe I could simply send a message if actually interested.

This guys looking for help…what’s the problem?

“Hopefully, the current 'leadership' of this country actually chooses to sack up and pony up to make some meaningful change, but I'm not holding my breath.”
@Winter Soldier….recognize the hypocrisy and parallels between my blunt statement and yours (from 1 day ago). You clearly have problems with the current ‘leadership’ as well.

What is the problem? Someone informed the OP about a new law that just went into effect (in a very respectful manner) and you’re the one that has a problem with it.

Yup. I do! He’s looking for help in a pretty low key way. Trying to appeal to some climbers hoping to make a quick buck on the side. It’s an Internet forum, if you’re interested his phone numbers right there.

Dumb law….

Pile on, I’m out.

Good luck Ryan. Would be nice side gig for a climber/skier hoping to make a buck. I’m not interested, but if I was….I’d call!

I just have to laugh when people try to police what others post in the forums.

I think it’s great the OP posted here looking for workers. I think it’s fitting for climbers because we’re obviously more comfortable than the average when bear when working at heights and it’s not uncommon for climbers to take on seasonal work to stack some cheddar so they can dirtbag it for another season or two. I also have no problem with someone informing him of a new law that might pertain to him and he might wanna know about. Those two things can co-exist perfectly fine in my head.

People are really crying on MP about the wages not being posted on a likely gig-by-gig paid job? Jobs like this are usually paid differently per client....

  • Haters gonna hate, but we’re still looking to connect with folks who are interested in joining the team!
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
