Looking for recommendation for DSLR camera shoulder strap

I want to get back into climbing photography, mostly shooting sport with a DSLR on a static line.  I got my camera out of storage and the shoulder strap broke with a small tug.  Is there a go to strap that won't break?  Or should I just go DIY with some 1/4 inch nylon webbing to a 2 inch webbing strap.  Any advice is appreciated!

peak design straps are rated to like 200lbs, I love 'em. (updated based on below)

I use an over-the-shoulder sling strap (Black Rapid, SunSniper, and Joby all make them). They're functional and strong. (SunSniper even has a version with a steel wire running through it to prevent theft.) Over the shoulder allows you to clip the camera out of the way behind you when jugging, and not have to faff around with a camera bag up there.

I back it up with one of these. That's not the exact one I have, but it's similar. I used to attach the quick-link to a climbing sling (also over my shoulder) for full redundancy, but nowadays I usually just leave it connected to the camera strap itself.

Just a heads up for anyone that may come across this thread. Peak Design straps are rated to 200 lbs, not 500!  Still looks great though

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
