Salt Laker here.  Got sick of the clusterF in the Wasatch for skiiing and got the Indy Ski Pass this year, which gives me a couple of days at Soldier and Pomerelle.  If I were to try to combine a ski trip at those two resorts with a few days of ice climbing at Twin Falls, what is my best time frame?  I'm guessing February-ish, but if anyone has any suggestions give me a holla.

Huh?  You're planning an ice climbing trip?

Yes, but for winter.  Advance planner here!

Ice in Twin can be hard. It can come and go several times throughout the winter. Jan seems to be pretty consistent, but all depends on temps. Best would be just watch for sub freezing temps for 3-5 days and plan to be there on the last cold day or just after.

Thanks, Ian.  Very helpful!
