ISO: Someone to bully me after work
|
|
Hey folks, Currently staring down the barrel of a "return to the office" plan and would like to get as much mileage outside after work prior to that time as I can. Hoping to improve so I'm looking for someone to insult my climbing ability and work ethic but not my new haircut. Would really like to be doing some trad but I grasp that my options and quality are limited within a short drive of Denver/Lakewood with North Table starting to heat up (though still happy to get out in the evenings for sure). I've got more gear and stoke than I know what to do with. Available pretty much every weekday until June, and then it's a bit more of a mixed bag. Weekends are pretty solidly booked up through June but feel free to give me a shout regardless and I may be able to swing it. Can dog my way up 5.12 sport and it's anyones guess on trad (have cleanly done up to solid 5.10 but never tried harder). If the gear is good I'll get on anything though, and I'm more than willing to follow anything as well. I'd say my To-Do list is pretty up to date but it's about 134 pages long so just assume if you want to do a climb, I will too. My previous partner posts: One Two If you're interested give me a shout. If you've reached out before and we haven't climbed together yet, feel free to haze me until we do. Some additional notes: I'm over in Edgewater and have a shed with a climbing wall so if you're not so interested in getting outside but would like to shoot the shit and are in the neighborhood, feel free to hit me up as well. Wall has like 15ish routes on it right now from VB-V6/7 and I'll probably do a reset here in a couple of months. |

Let's see the haircut before talking about any of the other stuff. |

I can vouch that Tal gives really good thank you kisses to his belayers. Haircut is a 4/10 though. Also the shed is sandbagged. Also he's not lying about his stoke. |

Jack Mwrote: I've climbed with Tal before, can confirm the 4/10 haircut (maybe 3/10) but he has a 10/10 ass that is nice to look at while he hangdogs on 5.7 |

Are you guys insulting my haircut? When I specifically asked you not to? |

I’ll go ahead and bump this: not as crazy about the haircut as I once was but I’m more accustomed to it so feel free to make fun of it. |

Well folks, I’m not proud of this but it’s time to come out and say it. I seem to be returning to the gym scene and im seeking a partner with a tender heart and a soft catch, predominantly basing out of ET Golden but happy to hit any of the El cap gyms in the area. Clear creek has just become too much of a cluster to rely on for me after work and I want to make sure I’m still getting climbs longer than 8ft in. Let me know if you’re interested, I’ve got all the belay certs and only a moderately crippling fear of leading indoors. And if you’re not interested, feel free to point and laugh at the gym. Looking for weekdays after 4 generally but I can swing a before work sesh every now and then too. It’s the gym so grades don’t really matter and also I haven’t lead climbed in the gym consistently in years but I’m a 5.11/V4-5 climber outdoors. |

So at the gym, you’re the one in the beanie I presume? See: haircut banter. |
|
|
I think at the present moment if I wore a beanie to the gym I’d die of heat stroke, but you may see me in a variety of hats, bandanas, helmets, and exotic wigs |
