I bootied one and it wasn’t bad, like a tweener size between a BD #3 and #4. I never had the cajones to attempt a gunks tie-off in a horizontal, wound up parting with it for somebody’s starter rack. 

I kept my larger sized rigid stems in the line up for a while thinking they would supplement my other cams but I just never use them except for a few walls I did early on where I needed a lot more cams.

I think I have a big HB locker somewhere. Want it? It's old (obv.) but in fine shape IIRC.

If he doesn't want it and it's in working condition I'd like to have it. My primary belay device is an HB sticht plate and an HB locker would be pretty sweet to go with it. 

Old guide Tennies for sure, also first version of scarpa technos. Those fit my feet really nice and could get the low profile (yet comfy) toe box into finger cracks easy.

It hurt my soul to have set up the first 2/3rds of my rack with color-coded Oz racking carabiners, and then not being able to get them anymore.

Sure, the nose tip was a bit bulky, but it shielded the gate from rubbing open on the rock better than any of the other snag-free wire gates.   The profile of the rest of the carabiner was so nice and slim, and they were so lightweight, so cheap, and color-coded.

They left a big hole in the market... and my heart.

getting resoled for the second time now, but that might be the last one... No other shoe has ever come close to that level of comfort with that level of performance !

Just came here to say the old guide tennies. Someone stole my last pair off my front porch and I was heartbroken. I have yet to find a comparable shoe (any recommendations??)

I have been lucky and have found at least three pair of new old stock guide tennis’s on EBay.  New in the box.  They come up occasionally, especially if you have smaller feet.

The Lava Domes were awesome!  I went through at least 3 pairs of the 1st gen.  Even by today's standards those were great shoes.

Might not be the same design and is across the pond, but something like that is out there.

Another short lived great shoe was the Patagonia Cragmaster.   More comfortable than the Guide Tennie, actually climbed and edged better than the Guide Tennie.  I unfortunately didn't even know they existed till after they stopped making them but was able to get my hands on a pair and covet them.
