Hey Trae,  while I probably can’t go to Yosemite in the timeframe you’re looking at,  I’m happy to help if you need a backup partner sometime to huck a lap on the glass menagerie or the OR.  I’ve never been to whitesides but have been on the GM solo and years ago did a couple walls in Zion.  Just something to keep in your back pocket if you need it.

Are you still in Wyoming?  Going to be a long trip just to come help me do some GM!  I mean, I'm down for it bud.  LOL.  It seems trail might be closed... not that big of a deal, but yeah...   

Tell me about your GM Solo xp?  How did that go?  Anything to look for or really just fix anchors and go.  My buddy might be coming later and I actually thought about doing the first couple of pitches rope solo for fun till he got there.

Friends of mine went to Looking Glass on April 17 and the gate was closed at Headwaters Rd. Not sure what the deal was or when it'll be open again.

This isn't a deal-breaker. You can always park at the fish hatchery and hike the extra 2 miles or so up the road. Extra training! Just thought you should be aware as it might affect logistics.
