Female Climbing Partners

This makes my heart so happy! I am in Golden and would love to have more slaydies to climb with! I love sport (lead 11s), boulder (project v7) and especially trad (lead 5.8/5.9) and have most of the gear for them. I mostly love being outside and climbing with other women! I am a safety nerd and take safety and communication seriously. I have every Monday off if that aligns with anyone's schedule. Andie had a great idea to start a Group Message to see who is available. I think it'd also be cool to pick a random weekend day in the near future, pick a crag and whoever wants to show up can? CCC? Or BoCan? If you want to be in a GM, drop your phone number or PM me if you don't feel comfortable posting it. :) |

Hey! So I’ve been climbing for over a decade, I have all the sport climbing gear. I’m kind of a comfy climber and leading 10.d is my favorite. The tallest multi pitch ive done was 10 pitches in Mexico. I used to teach lead climbing classes and I’m an alumni of the UIUC climbing club! Illinois represent! |

I love this thread! And, I'd love to throw my name out there, too. About me: I'm coming off a life and shoulder injury and am super weak at the moment. I've been climbing off and on for over 7 years- my stats are listed but really out of date since I didn't update for a while. At the moment, I'm just stoked to get outside- eventually, back to leading sport (10s and redpointing 11s) and swapping leads on easy trad (up to 5.7). I have all the gear, including a double rack. I'm really looking for fun partners who are super safe with great communication skills! Location: Based in Denver, so I'd love to find others who want to gym climb in the evenings. Schedule: Work during the week, so I'm free for gym climbs in the evenings and outside on the weekends! Other hobbies/interests: avid runner, hiker, and backpacker. And, I have a cute puppy if anyone wants to meet up for a pup play date. |

Hi all, Thanks for starting this thread. I'm Daisy and I'm looking for female trad climbing partners. About me: I've been climbing for about 2 years and started trad climbing about a year ago. I can lead trad generally in the 8s and looking to lead more easy trad routes to gain more experience and gradually move up to higher grades. I love cracks and resist getting on sloppy routes. I am a safe and cautious belayer and you will have all my attention when you are my climber. I have a full trad rack and all gear needed. Location: I live in Boulder. I'll be happy to climb with you in Eldo, North Table, CCC, BoCan or any nearby crags. Schedule: I work from home so I have a flexible schedule for the most part. I can get out most weekdays. Looking for: trad climbing partners to gain more experience and get stronger together. |

Haley Youngwrote: Hey Ladies! Haley Young and I have been climbing together for years. She is an inspirational partner and just an all-around badass babe! I’m also interested in finding more ladies to climb with in the front range. I’m based out of Boulder and would be psyched to not only find some new partners to push limits with but also to be a steward to this community of women and offer to rally a group of ladies for a day of fun cragging and learning. Been traveling a lot lately and learning all sorts of new ways to fineness my climbing but also my supporting role as a belayer and spotter. I’m so psyched to pass on all that I know and share my passion with other passionate women in the community. I’ll be in Boulder, May 12th - June 3rd. Let me know if anyone has an interest and I’d be psyched to plan an appropriate climbing adventure pending volume of interest and genre of psych. Sport: 12+ Let push some limits and build this community together! Niki: 302.528.6970 |

Hi all, I'm also psyched to meet 1 or 2 more trad climbing women who have similar goals and styles. About me: I've been climbing for 6 years, and almost exclusively trad climbing for the last 3. I climb almost entirely for multipitch trad routes and am not particularly interested in sport climbing, with the exception of the occasional winter Shelf day. It's hard to say across the board what grades I climb (because sometimes I'm terrified on 5.8 gear routes and sometimes I send 11s, depending on where it is and who did the FA, haha), but as an average I'm probably about a mid 5.10 trad leader. My favorite places to climb are RMNP (any alpine rock anywhere), Eldo, The Black, Red Rock Canyon (Vegas), the Winds, the Creek, and ice routes. My ideal route is somewhere around 8ish pitches in length. I lead WI3 and am hoping to push into WI4 next season and also would like more psyched women partners who are competent ice climbers. I always wear a helmet, plan ahead, and pride myself on not panicking in bad situations. I am an encouraging attentive belayer and can hold space for your emotions. I also bake excellent cookies and pies ;) Location: Live in Denver but have no problem driving long distances for even just a weekend of climbing (I regularly drive to the Creek for just 1.5 days of climbing) Schedule: weekends free, some weekday flexibility if I get my work done, which varies by the week. I am a physician assistant, so I like to think I'm a good person to climb with in case there is a medical emergency. Looking for: Other competent trad climbing women at a similar level who are psyched on alpine days and multipitch routes. I value clear communication, nonreactive/respectful/calm partners, and being able to think clearly and not lose it when a situation becomes dangerous or even deviates from an optimal plan. If we are climbing something big or in the alpine, I value efficiency as much as possible, but if there's a lower consequence day (ie: Eldo) I enjoy a slightly slower pace to watch the birds swooping and appreciate the wildflowers. |

Great thread. I may have found some partners already but just in case...... I'm not new to climbing (30 years experience) but I've had some health problems so it's been a while since I've gotten out. Lost my main partner via a divorce. I'm fairly consistent in my ability to follow 10's and 11's but haven't lead in a while. Still knocking the rust off my lead head. I climb trad, sport, and a little ice. I'm extremely safe and reliable. I have Wednesday and Sunday off. My number is 303.880.7633. Keeping it short and sweet. Lisa |

Loving this! I might reach out to a few of you personally, but here’s my info as well: I’m a gym climber from Southern California, traveling with my husband in our camper van throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. I can lead climb and belay (sport), and I’m picky about safety. Although, I’ve only done a little climbing outside, and I’m still learning (I can lead 5.10s and some 11s comfortably in the gym). I would love to sync up with some female climbers when I’m in Colorado towards the end of May. My schedule is wide open and I’m really wanting to make climbing a priority while we are on the road, so please hit me up if you’re interested! |

Hi! I am in Denver also looking for some lady climbers! I’m pretty new to climbing, have been top roping 5.10s in the gym, crack climbed in Moab and Turkey rocks 5.6-5.10, and some slabs in Moab. I’m looking to gain more experience outside and eventually learn to lead. I would love to learn from you and climb with you! I want to climb with safe partners and push myself. Feel free to message me and maybe we can get outside together 414-588-8991 |

Hi! Slowly breaking back into the sport after a few years hiatus. Sport experience on easy grades. Would like to get into multi-pitch and trad. Have my own gear (just for sport leads). Weekend availability, in the Springs, S. Platte, and beyond. |

Hi all! I'm glad this exists! I am always looking for someone to establish a solid belaytionship with :) I've been climbing for about 5 years, but last year my fitness went to crap. I'm currently getting back into summer shape, ha! I'm looking for someone who has experience on gear and wants to do some trad climbing not just in the front range but around Independence pass, RMNP, and more this summer. I have this summer off, so I'd like to do longer trips out. I'm also down for daytrips. I'd say I'm most comfortable on moderate trad leading, and can follow you if you want to push harder. I've taken some courses for trad and learned how to climb with my friend, who's a guide. Let me know if you'd like to maybe meet up at the gym or somewhere in the Denver area! |

Awesome! Me: just moved to boulder from Brooklyn. I lead up to low 5.12 sport (when I’m in shape), follow trad (not a strong leader), and boulder V0-V4ish. Been climbing since 2016 and psyched to climb all the things out here! Location: Boulder (will travel to climb anywhere on weekends schedule: weekdays post 5-6pm may work but mainly weekends Looking for: safe, psyched ladies who are pushing grades and focused on sport climbing primarily. Down for other adventures too! Other interests: biking, yoga, live music Would love to be added to the GM for partnering! |

Hello everyone. I'm starting to get back into climbing after a long hiatus. Cliimbed a lot in the 90s and early 2000s, but for most of the last 5-6 years I might get out once or twce a year. Until a month ago, it'd been about 3 years since I climbed. I'm pretty much a trad climber and ice climber. Also do some aid and alpine. I like to climb mainly in Eldo and the Flatirons, with occassional jaunts to RMNP. I used to guide ice back in the day, too, but just want to find some reliable partners to climb with. For now, until I get more mileage back and have my cliimbing head back, I'd mainly look to lead moderate gear routes up to 5.7 or so. I'm a paramedic and a ski patroller, so my schedule is very variable, but I alwayys have some weekdays free. PM me if you might want to get out with my old bones :) |

Thank you for starting this thread! About me: I've been climbing for about three or four years (gym and outside). I started so I could spend more time with my sons, but little did I know, or they realize, that I would get totally hooked on the sport. I am fully vaccinated as of February! In the gym, I am top roping high 10s-11a and leading up to 10b. Outside, I climb sport (up to 9s) and top rope (10a on up). I do follow easier trad and would like to get into some more multipitch. I am a safety-first climber and belayer (TR and lead) who is always open to learning new techniques and sharing ideas. I don't mind longer approaches, and carry all my gear. Location: Based just outside of Boulder. My primary gym is The Spot Louisville (used to be EVO), but can go to others. Schedule: Flexible - I'm retired! I prefer outside, but if we are short on time or weather is not cooperating, inside works just as well! Looking for: Other partners who value safety, love adventures, and enjoy sharing excitement in climbing and life. I also appreciate partners who are patient while I work on a route. I'm not projecting anything, but I do take my time when I am climbing. One big thing: I bring a lot of stoke to the table, so be prepared. I celebrate every climb as a unique experience and don't focus on the send. It's all about the journey, not about the destination. No pressure! Other hobbies/interests: yoga, cycling, golf Please feel free to PM if you're interested in meeting up! |

Heya ladies! Great thread. Also, very interested in more female climbing partners! About Me: Have been sport climbing off and on for about 8 years, ice climbing for 2 years and am looking to expand my skills toward more trad and multi-pitch stuff. I have followed 12-15 trad routes (including alpine multi-pitch) but want to spend more time placing gear myself. I have a single rack, many quick-draws, and a 70m rope. Happy to be out in nature and climbing with people, so anywhere (and any type of climbing) we end up doing is often great with me! Will provide a safe belay, solid communication, snacks and lots of stoke! Also, hold a WFA cert and plan to get more training as being a safe and competent partner is very important to me! Location: Loveland/Fort Collins area but am happy to commute mostly anywhere! Availability: Fri-Sun anytime for outdoor climbing or T/TH 6-8pm at Ascent Climbing and Fitness (FoCo) during the week if you want to gym-climb Looking for: Safe, supportive, communicative and experienced belayer/partner as well as a potential mentor for trad climbing. Interested in mixed climbing, too. Other interests: Trail-running, hiking, biking, skiing, adventure, travel, live music, learning, yoga, beer (also, very food-motivated) Feel free to DM me or text 970-488-9601 |
