Mt Lassen backcountry skiing /splitboarding

Looking to head to Lassen in the next few weeks. I believe Lassen got more snow than Shasta this year. Let me know if anyone is interested or if anyone has any beta. I have been vaccinated :))

I have not been in that area at all I usually head to Shasta. I believe you can park/camp at the kohm  Yahmahnee visitors center and ski and tour that area . Leave Friday afternoon. Let me know if your interested. I don’t know what the snow is like or how much. Cheers

I was at Lassen on Tuesday and it's marginal at best - maybe a little snow this weekend but it's not much better than Shasta. Might be possible to find something, but might be better to head further north instead.

Just a quick hike up to Ridge Lakes for me, but ran into some skiers who'd gone around the backside of Brokeoff and mentioned that they felt like the season was pretty much done.
