Any new ice tools for Fall 2021?

I've been googling a bit but haven't seen anything. Has anyone seen announcements for new ice tools coming out next fall? I'm looking ahead to next winter and wondering if I should just buy nomics or if there is something new coming that is worth considering.

They're not new, but I think Trango's carbon fiber tools deserve a look. $$ though.

Well nothing paradigm changing has come out for the past decade, would be shit luck if all the other companies had been holding out until FW21 just to piss you off :-)

If you've got a good deal on Nomics now I'd feel pretty safe buying.

Have you tried them?

Nothing new from major brands.

Not sure if the Singing Rock Bandit is new this year, but it caught my eye this season.  Price point seems right for a second set of tools to take beginner climbers out on.

I have and I like the Nomic. I noticed that there had been some good sale prices on X-Dreams for a bit there so I was wondering if they were perhaps doing a redesign for next year.

Hopefully not, the X Dreams are perfect! :-)

It’s about 8 years old. Sells pretty well here.

They are sweet tools for the price point. Got a pair of Bandits for my first set of tools a while ago for $150 for the pair. Can't beat that and they climb great up to WI5ish. Only complaint is that replacement parts are non abundant online and almost non existent in stores.

No new tools this year but I know stuff is coming down the pipe for F22.

X-Dream got an update in 2020, it was Mixte Pick comes standard on the X-Dream now. I believe the only way to really tell is look at the SKU of the Axe.
