Me and my lady are heading to Puerto Rico from the 17th to the 22nd. We are planning to stay near bayamon. Looming for some additional partners to show us the crags.

After a day or two in Bayamon I highly recommend heading to Ciales and climbing there.

I also recommend not staying near Bayamon.  Nothing wrong with it but you could be closer to beach or San Juan and still have an easy drive to climb.

Totally,  been looking at cerro las tetas. And it looks gorgeous.

I'm gonna be there at the same time. I've only climbed there a few times (Bayamon, Puerto Herminia) but used to live in San Juan. Not on a climbing trip per se but I'll have my gear, lead 10s.

Nice me and my partner would definitely be down. I'm sure you'd have more knowledge on where to find climbs than us :)

We're gonna be at the Flying Coconut Crag in Ciales on Sunday. Info is on MP. I haven't been before but it should be about as straightforward, logistically, as climbing here gets -- you can contact the owner. Puerto Herminia is also on MP and small and easy to navigate; Bayamon is a little more complicated but you can download a guidebook from Aventuras Tierra Adentro.

We just came from cerdos lax tetas today. Awesome climbing. We did Bayamon yesterday which was easy for us to find the crag after we first made a wrong turn.  We're thinking  to start the day early  to get some climbing  in before we head back to San Juan at 2.  We're thiking to be at the crag by 8 a.m possibly . And still trying to decide if we climb at bayamon or ciales.

I don't suppose anybody will be around in late January by chance?

I'll be going solo and would be stoked to meet up with anybody. Traveling with the works(rope, draws, etc)

Get in touch with Eli Helmuth -- info's on Flying Coconut Crag page; he might be able to help set you up with some other climbers

Aw man, I'm getting there the 3rd.. I doubt we'll be able to climb in such a short time but if you have any tips or people you can connect me with that would be appreciated

Yeah bummer. Well I reached out to Eli at climbinglife and he helped me get connected to a couple people. Maybe try messaging him for some info. He also mentioned checking out the gym El Bloque for some local partners

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
