I am thinking of possibly heading down to Colombia around mid-December, which area are you located?

I think the best places to climb in Colombia are La Peña (about 3 hours south of Medellin)  and La Mojarra outside Buccaramanga in the Chicamocha canyon.  I'm currently in Cali trying to figure out my visa issues right now. If all works out I should still be here in Colombia through the 2021 year.

@Mike - near Bogota there are two really beautiful places to climb as well. Both easily accessible by bus. Suesca (~2h) has 400+ routes that are sport, trad, mixed and some multipitch. Choachi (45 mins) is in the paramo and a great option if it's ever raining. Rock is angled such that it doesn't get wet.

And I can vouch that La Mojarra is absolutely stunning! The climbing community there is very friendly, and there are lots of strong folks from Colombia and Venezuela to pair up with and learn from.

Cool, are there places to stay in La Mojarra that are good for meeting people but have wifi unlike Refugio la Roca? I have to be doing calls in the mornings.

@Blaise - my best friend is in Refugio la Roca right now working remotely so wifi connection seems good enough! :) I went while I was living in Colombia a few years ago, and wifi always worked. You can also check Hostal Juan Palitos which is right next door. During my visit to La Mojarra, we stayed in the village outside of Refugio and those lodging options had no wifi whatsoever. Have fun!
