New Large C4 Trigger Keepers

Just got a new version #4, I’m amazed how much nicer the slightly matte grey looks. I’d never buy cams for how they look but this looks good. Now to my actual question:

is there a reason to not store them with the triggers pulled and the trigger captures activated? I’m traveling a lot in my car and any extra space helps, but I obviously don’t want to damage my new toy

Springs are worked by being cycled. I see no problem storing in the closed position. 

BD (Kolin Powick) has explicitly said they did some extensive testing, and keeping them retracted for long periods of time doesn't impact the springs at all.

It's not like the springs are ever relaxed.

Exactly. The springs are always under tension once they are installed on the cam.
