The Fins Mystery Poo Bucket

Found a nicely constructed, well placed poo bucket by the spot I was camping. Wondering if anyone knows about this, how it gets cleaned, et cetera. Thinking of trying to take the bag out myself — or is there a poo Santa?!

We have decided we are going to take it out! But where does poo Santa put his presents?!

On the real I think this poo bucket is a great thing - especially with all the traffic popular climbing areas are getting thanks to COVID. Walking around I saw lots of TP right on the ground, which is sad. At least fully burry your poo and pack out your TP right?! But at a certain point a lot of buried poo in a small area becomes too much right? Don’t know exactly when that point is.

Anyway! My question is what does poo Santa do when he gets out of the crag with a bag full of presents? Seems a little rough to throw it in a dumpster? A little too hands on to empty it into a porta potty, and not fully compostable bc the poo bucket was stocked with baby wipes which I’m certain aren’t compostable. 

There's a free RV dump station next to the gas station in Arco, I'd chuck it in the dumpster. Thanks for cleaning up this trash from the camping area up there at the Fins!

And yes, people should come prepared to pack out their poop. As climbing grows and small, fragile places like this see more traffic, simply walking 100 feet and digging a cathole is no longer a sustainable practice. A bucket with a gamma seal lid and wag bags is pretty simple.
