Has anyone been up or passed by Tenaya Peak recently? Is there still snow on the route? I wanna solo it on my way through to the valley.
Cheers,
Patrick

I did it it about two weeks ago and it was insanely buggy until about halfway up. Descent was also a little bad at the top. I'd guess they're better now but not completely gone.

The approach was a little wet and we bushwhacked rather than go up the slimy slabs, that's likely still wet but not something to fret about.

Go for it! Super fun.

Picture taken june30. The only remaining moisture on the route was at the very start and was able to be stepped across.

Did it in the end of June. No snow on route. one short muddy section you can step over mostly. Did it from parking lot to the top in just under 45mins, as I remember, so the conditions aren't too bad.

Marcus,

Although you were slighted and marginalized, you can bounce back from this emotional setback. I am rooting for you. We're all here to help if you need a shoulder to lean on, or just want to talk about it.

We'll get through this together.

Marcus,

Even during these dark days, there is still joy to be found in life. You can get past this trauma. Remember when you were a little kid, carefree and filled with hope? Let's recapture those days. If nothing else, I appreciate the photo you posted. Don't give up, my friend.

Is this a good low mod route that my non climber gf could follow me on?

Alex-
My non-climbing brother soloed it on sight, if that helps. I’d say have her put climbing shoes on at the base and scamper until she feels like it’s time to have a toprope.  If you pitch it out, it’s a bit laborious.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
