Vedauwoo open?

Does anyone know if the gate in vedauwoo to get back to campsites in a car, is open? I know I can always park in the big dirt lot and walk back. I’d really like to drive back past nautilus and all that. Can’t find solid info on any site.

According to Roads guy 2 weeks ago they open memorial day weekend. We hiked to beehive. Took an hr via road, 45 minutes via trail.
Medicine bow NF and curtgowdy camping was closed. We bivied at a parking area.

I called the forest service office, and they said it should open Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Expect crowding from locals and climbers alike. Plan accordingly 

Any tips on where to camp in Vedauwoo? Close to Beehive Buttress if possible. Would be in a 4x4 truck with a slide in camper.

If the campground is closed can I still access climbing? Specifically beehive buttress area 

I just spoke with FS. The campground is closed until June 1st but dispersed camping and rock climbing are allowed. Stay safe!
