That's the point. Find places where you are clear of others and do your duty to get some exercise so you can stay healthy. If the government trusted people not to go out and break ankles or freeze to death, they'd be telling people to go into the woods, alone, where you're separated as much as possible, but they can't, people would be in bad shape.

Fok, I just checked: 23 days no climbing. Ugh. Gonna go see if I can still do a pull-up and try to find my old rock rings in the attic.

I was on a long trip to Potrero Chico, arriving back in the US on March 14. A few days later the EPC climbing community asked visitors to stay away and everyone I know who was there left.  On my return I self-isolated for 14 days.  I have a campsite at City of Rocks starting mid-June and will go if restrictions are lifted.  Until then I'll be using the bouldering wall in my garage.

I saw that lol.  If I do a route that's on MP, I'll tick it, hell I post it on Instagram.  Last few weeks I've been out climbing unlisted climbs though.  I dont see the issue ticking, unless you are at a closed park or area, there's no law broken.

No way im putting my hands all over rock people have been on in the last few weeks, not worth it. Even healthy people have snot running all over the place this time of year. In the south its pollen season, people are sniffling, sneezing and coughing all over the rock. Up here its still winter and people are doing the same.

Of course we are now under orders to stay home except for essential travel...

This is the part that most people are missing.  There are crags all over the US that are experiencing record numbers of climbers visiting right now because everyone's treating this like a vacation.  I mean, fine, if you know a remote crag and you never see anyone else there, great.  But all these dipshits going to heavily traveled crags because they have time off and don't want to stay inside, that's the epitome of selfishness.  It's pretty disappointing to see our user group as a whole offer up such poor representation and make the whole lot of us look like self-entitled pieces of shit.

I live in Vegas now but I came from the Victorville/Apple Valley area and I just got off the phone with one of my long time good friend and author of a guidebook and future guidebook
for the Apple Valley area. He lives out near the Fairview climbing area and he just told me there is a dirtbag climbers camp that has gone up out there since JTree shut down.
Now all the self entitled pieces of shit climbers are congregating there with license plates from all over. He sees them because they have to drive right by his home. There was one Rescue there just a few days ago  that involved rescue personnel. There are already a few reported cases of covid 19 in the Victor Valley area And who knows how many of these climbers may be asymptomatic carriers
and infecting MORE people in the Victorvalley area.

That's why I have been so VOCAL here on MP about the shithole self center climbers posting here on MP.
And I am NOT SORRY for being so VOCAL!  I may lose a few friend here on MP but I don't CARE.  They don't need to be my Friends if they are so irresponsible and self centered that they are endangering other people. Nor, climb with them with them in the future because they are irresponsible. I only want to climb with responsible people as they would be the ones I would trust my LIFE with!

You, Chuff, are one I would be honored to climb with in the future after this is all over

Because it's a modern day witch hunt by a self titled enforcer.  Like who tf gave this guy a badge and the right to make up rules for the rest of us? He even challenged people to post pictures of them climbing during quarantine and own the action.  I totally would with a big middle finger, but the highly censored socal climbing page won't allow it or you will get blocked, you can only whine and complain about others getting outside.
