How are ice conditions and river crossings at Cody south fork?  Headed out there around the 7th of march.  Hoping to get on mean green as the main objective but have a few extra days for other stuff as well.

Also are road conditions likely to be good for a low clearance 2wd?  Doesnt look like they have had much snow this winter and not much in the forecast but not really sure how well they maintain it in the winter either.

If you don't get a response here, check the Cody rock and ice climbing Facebook page, probably more Cody peeps actively check that

Road should be ok. Though there is often a LARGE puddle at the end of the road, that could get interesting in your Prius/smart car/e-scooter.

Check Mulkey’s site. Stop in to Joyvagen, the bike shop. Besides being a great shop, Chris is super nice and has great seasonal ice beta..

Is it possible to park on the side of road prior to where it’s wet or is that not an option?

Any theory on how the ice and river crossings will hold up in another week or so given the warm conditions?

If the river crossing melts out, simply hike in or bike from Hunter Creek.
