Anyone drive past the spires/block tower/sunshine wall/foxton area since the snowfall this week? Curious on how much they got and how it looks up there.  Thanks in advance.

Closed for birds, I believe.

I believe it closes March 1st unlike a lot of the other bird closures. I was hiking in Staunton today and even the South facing walls had a decent bit of snow. I would expect similar from Cathedral Spires.

It’s 3/1 for the spires.

it's usually 15 in the parking lot, 60 on wunches in the sun, and then cold and windy on the rap down...

I live 8.5 miles away as the crow flies. We got about 7 inches here, with about 3 inches sublimating away today with the sun. Tomorrow even more will be gone. I'd guess snow on the approach but good sticky temps once on the rock provided the sun is shinning and no wind. That will change on Friday.

Pine has gotten about 30 inches since last Monday, FWIW.

Any updates on conditions around pine?

It’s snowed almost every day in Denver for the last week.  You been out of town?

I think that’s obvious. Was wondering how much is at the spires right now.

Joe, I'm at roughly the same elevation as Cathedral Spires but some distance North. Nonetheless, we got near 36" of snow over the last week and a half. I was watching the radar during the big storms, and it was favoring that area as well, and so I bet Cathedral Spires also got 36". It just hasn't been warm enough to melt all of it! While you might find some dry routes in the direct sun that do not have snow-catch features directly above, the approach is probably a lot of post-holing. Get after it and let us know. :-)
