Just received confirmation from Navajo Nation staff that currently, no rock climbing is permitted anywhere on the Navajo Nation. This includes within Navajo Nation Parks as well as...anywhere! So that settles that for now. They did inform me that there are discussions about rock climbing as part of a larger outdoor recreation economic strategy, and more information may be available later this year. |
