This is great, I am an influencer so one of my biggest issues with belaying is that it takes valuable time from checking my socials. I have been just living with it but talk about innovation, this is the product I didn't know I needed!

Will it work while I'm aid soloing? I hate having to pull my phone out of my pocket on lead to Google if I'm doing it right or not.

If climber and belayer aren't familiar with route beta by the time the person is climbing, I can tell you the beta is NOT the issue--its the lackadaisical party.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Worst idea ever, if you are new enough to climbing that youre using the gumby, grigri+ then you are not experienced enough to use a phone while climbing. Period. i yell at any kid in the gym who is new to the sport and using their phone, i can tell who is new because they have the new belay tags that the gym hands out now with their updated logo. if you werent around when the logo had a cute little frog on it, the i absolutely know you arent ready to belay and text simultaneously like i am! end of story!

I am disappointed in myself that I can’t tell if this is a top notch troll or serious wackjob. The suspense is killing me.

I didn’t expect this much interest and contribution! Both comical and realistic lol
The GoPro idea is definitely worth playing with before you knock it. We’re playing with streaming from the climbers GoPro to belayer’s GriGri if the distance isn’t too far. Pretty neat to see FP view from the climber while belaying.
