Greetings and Merry Christmas y’all !

I am looking for an experienced climber who can rescue my fallen drone from the side of a bluff in Lost Maples State Park in Vanderpool, TX. It is perched in a shrub approx. 90’ up from ground level. There is a solid footing to tie off from directly up above. Suffice to say I am a very unhappy camper right now knowing that my beloved drone is sitting on the side of a cliff. I will gladly pay cash for your service. Thanx!

If you weren't 250 miles from Houston, I'd help. Try posting down in the Texas partners forum.

I wonder how much money Mtn Proj would make if people had to pay to make these posts.

Best of luck Bud. I would help if I was closer. I would request no payment but rather a drone photo shoot. Merry Christmas... cheers

Reach out to the TCC via Insta or twitter texasclimberscoalition.org/   That place seems to be in the boonies but maybe someone from Austin or San Antonio will help out.

If I were closer to Texas I would totally help...….by finding your drone and throwing it the rest of the way down the cliff.

Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas!

I was wondering how long it would take before someone had to profess their dislike of drones.

Probably just couldn't help yourself.

Just like the OP couldn't help himself by flying a drone where it's forbidden. It's that kind of IDGAF behavior that has soured me to drones and is unfortunately been the norm when I've run into drone enthusiasts.

If the OP dropped his power drill while drilling bolts where he knew it was forbidden, would you have a problem with folks disliking that?

you wouldnt ever know because surely they would not have posted here for someone to retrieve it for them.....

i could be wrong though, with the amount of non self sufficient whiny climbers infiltrating the sport today

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
