Isn't there a guy with a bar and a climbing shop somewhere in town?

You must be new here.

Why not just climb and drink some tequila and wait to buy weed until you get back to the USA. Mexico's weed sucks. Not worth the trouble or the money.

Looks like the greenery was an inch away from general approval in Mexico.

Apparently, it continues to be a difficult score in EPC. The historical reason has been cartel intimidation of local dealers. Try the cacti.

Knowingly looking for trouble in Mexico, as this post seems to be doing, is extremely dangerous.

Here is a link, albeit dated, to the security situation in Nuevo Leon:

Things have gotten worse.  Check out the current posts on this website.

Due to the failed drug war the violence related to drug sales in Mexico is out of control.  Drug dealers are murdered every day by rival cartels, so anybody that sells is taking a huge risk.  The Mexican government is on the drug cartel payroll, so legalization isn't happening.  You'll have to gain the trust of some locals, and be very discreet.  It's a sad situation.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
