Hey there,

The plastic encasing the stem of one of my cams has a crack through it. It looks to be superficial and only affecting the rigidity of the cam, but I am curious if anybody with more knowledge knows if this is a safety concern, and if there is anything I can do about it? I appreciate any help and advice you can offer.

Superficial. That big-ass cable inside is the important part. Throw some epoxy or tape on there and call it a day.

You are going to die and should just ship me that cam so I can study what happened to it

Epoxy. Simple.

Look in to which epoxy to use, some will weaken plastics!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
