Hello, I’m new to Colorado and looking for some climbing partners:

  • I'm looking for a weekday climbing partner for trad, sport, ice, mixed and alpine.
  • I’m looking to climb within 3 hours of Summit County including the South Platte and the Front Range. I’m also willing to go as far as Moab or Indian Creek for multi day.
  • A partner would have a good sense of humor, high motivation and big on safety. At, above or below my current abilities.
  • I lead 5.8 trad, 5.10- sport, WI3, M.easy and can follow whatever.

Preferred climbing areas for rock:

  • I’m new to the area and open to climbing anywhere warm.
  • As temps drop I’d be most interested in checking out:
    • South Platte - especially Turkey Rocks & Thunder Ridge
    • Eldorado Canyon
    • Shelf Rd
    • Clear Creek
    • Moab and Indian Creek for multi day

Preferred climbing areas for ice and mixed:

  • Anything within 3 hours of Summit County – I’m not super familiar with the area.
  • Rigid Designator Amphitheatre
  • Lincoln Falls

Next Season Alpine:

  • Cirque of the Towers
  • RMNP

I have the usual gear (ropes, double trad rack, ice rack & sense of adventure).
 Cheers,
  Harvest

I climbed with Harvest Yesterday at Lumpy.  We cruised Romulan Territory 10b and East Side 8+. He is strong, confident and knows how to climb trad. Good Partner.
Thanks again for a great day Harvest :-)

Hey Harvest,

I also live in summit county, my availability is limited the next few weeks as i start a new job and have lots of training to do. I would be interested in trying to link up on some alpine routes next season. I will get in touch if i have some availability before ice season kicks off.

I am comfortable leading sport in the 5.9 some 5.10, and still getting started on leading trad. I do have a rope, quick draws and some trad gear as well.

Also a Summit County-er. As much as I love riding, I'm looking for partners that are still into climb this time of year, have Sun/mondays off and ok with heading a few hours away to warmer temps (Front range, Turkey, Shelf, Moab, etc.)  Leading sport 10's / easy trad, and safe. PM me!

Hi all,

I'm on vacation in Vail and would love to climb this Monday, April 5.  Any chance anyone is available for anything nearby?  Thanks!
