Sliced finger, road trip. What would you do??

This stuff is stickier than any other tape I've used.  I've heard the thin-tape method described by Gargano works pretty well.  Tape it up and get back to it.

I've also had a lot of success using Rhino Split Stick. (packing it into the wound and taping over until it heals over) I hear it's basically the same as non-spf chapstick, so that would probably work too.

Pinky just had the skin degloved fortunately. Its 100% now. Ring finger was missing half the phalange so I opted to remove the whole digit.

Climbing Fingers in a Light Socket, 5.11 fingers, Indian Creek. Slipped off the last move with too bomber of a finger lock.

I feel your PAIN, Grog. I lost the tip of my L index Finger When a rocl fell on it when I was climbing up the front face of San Jacinto back in 1973.
I was Almost 20 hours till I   got to the hospital at 29 Palms Marine base where my dad was stationed. OH THE PAIN as Dr. Smith would say.

Thanks for all of the helpful tips, peanut gallery. Superglue plus tape plus more superglue while climbing, and lots of Hoofmakers and Neosporin at night got me through three cold, dry, but rad days at the Needles with plenty of tweaky finger locks. Needless to say, it didn't heal at all...

Well, at least you got thru your vacation. Now you can heal up!
