Have a company trip at the end of October on Catalina Island. I saw a few boulder problems on MP but was wondering if anyone else knew of climbing on the island?

Never heard of climbing there...but that doesn't mean there isn't any....

Don’t be surprised if it’s choss, I had a gig a few years back retrieving some fuel drums left by a panga on San Miguel and checked out some of the seaside cliffs. I don’t think I’d whip on a 1/2”x10” bolt there

East of the Istmess there are some UNexplored areas. Areas only reached by boat would be interesting if climbed from the ocean floor to peak of rock. Back side? Ship rock? How bout the quarry ?

I scuba dive @ Catalina a lot. Quite a few potential deep water solo spots via a boat only. Curiously, this is the only genre of climbing...rock, alpinism, ice, ski mountaineering I can no longer do (it causes massive barotrauma to my ears)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
