Hulk C2C Parking Advice

I'm planning to head up to climb positive vibes car-to-car this weekend. I've only done an overnight trip to the hulk in the past and hoping for some advice on navigating the parking situation in the morning before the kiosk opens to pay for parking.

Do I park somewhere else? Slide payment into a slot at the kiosk? Leave a note on my car and pay when I get back?

If you are not parking overnight you can park in the day-use lot (before the entrance/pay station) on the left, where the sign says "day use parking / no overnight parking" or something to that effect.
