But I don't believe that booby trapping is ethical.
And in my late 60s I'm still putting up routes, so there is still some walk in my talk. You? Didn't insinuate anything about myself except that I've enjoyed the routes of yours I've done

Jay Brenner wrote: I just want to make sure I understand this boast. You're talking about the obvious extension to another climb that was put up 25 years prior in "The Valley". The obvious crack climbing above it, with the blistering crux pitch of 10a hands. Approach starts by looking at it from the hotel parking lot if I'm not mistaken?
Bravo I guess?
lol. Yea, you don't understand it.
So obvious it wasn't put up until 25 years after Serenity in the most famous climbing area in the world lol. Despite virtually every other buttress in Yosemite having routes on it too. Yep, so obvious that Higgins and Bridwell and Worrall and Kauk and Bachar missed it...
And yes, the combo of the two that I and my partners did the FFA of is the most popular and arguably the highest quality multi-pitch 5.10 of its length in the world.
In advance of your thanking me after actually climbing it (and gaining some understanding)....Your welcome.
After that you will want to get on Tenaya's Tears.

Odd how Honnold tells me Serenity is his favorite climb? He loves the fingers, I prefer the hero hands up higher. LOL my goodness, Tut. This is really your point of pride? Aren't you a physician or something, but THIS is where you REALLY peaked...some traderoute next to the ahwahnee parking lot?
You do realize that this and 50 cents will get you a candy bar, yeah? You didn't make the cracks in the rock, you're aware of that yes? You were just the first person to care enough to say you climbed it.
All those guys you name-dropped were probably otherwise occupied with all the other hard routes around them. LOL!
What vision! What a journey into the wilderness! Here's from down low on Serenity, you could probably throw a rock and hit the roof.
What glory and splendor, what visionaries!... to unlock the mystery of the difficult and hidden blue area immediately above the aid route!!!! F*cking LOL!

I am starting to wonder about your mental health after reading the last several pages of this thread. In addition to the fore mentioned, I will not climb any of your routes. There are better 5.10s out there, maybe you and your knack for finding routes could help the world out?

It's like a confederecy of dunces all chortling to themselves how smart they are lol.
:D But really, it's kind of sad to see this generation so willfully ignorant of Yosemite history and the routes there.

But really, it's kind of sad to see this generation so willfully ignorant of Yosemite history and the routes there. Please stop acting like you had anything to do with "Yosemite history" or any bull shit like that. You out up a cruiser old man moderate route in your later years and want to be considered part of Yosemite history?? What a disgrace.
