Smith Rock Craggin' Classic 2019 registration opens July 16, so keep an eye on the link below! The event takes place Sept 13-15, 2019 and I look forward to seeing you there!

We strongly encourage carpooling - to keep our air cleaner, create camaraderie and because we have limited parking! Please read the following information for tips and what details to share...

- Please indicate if you can drive or if you need a ride.
- For those who can drive, you will need to purchase a Parking Pass (either via your Weekend Pass purchase, or when you check in at Redpoint Climbers Supply Friday, Sept 14).
- Drivers should indicate how many passengers you can take and roughly when you plan on leaving and returning.
- Passengers, don't forget to help out with gas.

For more info on the event, go to the event page at americanalpineclub.org/smit…, check out the event schedule and register.

If you have questions about the event after exploring those sites, feel free to contact me at swolfe@americanalpineclub.org. Thanks so much!

Hi all, I just signed up and am super stoked for the event :). I'm coming from Seattle and don't have a car; if anybody would be interested in carpooling, let me know! I'm happy to help out with gas and parking costs or can provide beers in return. Looking forward to it!

Hello! I was hoping to go and leave from Seattle as well - I might be able to give you a ride! Want to reach out to me on Facebook and we can touch base there?

Getting a ride from Selma is one hell of an ask.

As an aside, come to Brookings and I'll take you bouldering.

Departing from SE Portland in a Mazda3, would love to drive someone and/or merge with an odd numbered crew (beat the shit out of my gear, will bring cookies!).

This thread is awesome! Smith Rock and the environment in general could definitely use more ride sharing. :-)

There is a ride share FB group "Smith Rock Ride Shares" that may be helpful, also.

Full disclosure: I started the group to help folks for situations like this year round. Cheers and kudos to Sarah for putting together an amazing event!

I am coming from Bend which isnt far but I'd still love to carpool or get a ride to follow in the spirit of the event's effort to have less cars! Anyone from Bend going or can anyone swing through and get me from out of town? I am working until 7pm in Old Mill.

Hey Friends!
I will be leaving from N/NE Portland on Friday around 10 or 11 am. I have room for up to 4 people. Plan to come back Sunday after everything has wrapped up and maybe some fishing!

I'll be driving up from Sunriver, and can make a small detour to lessen my car guilt!

Only have 1 seat but plenty of room for gear.
